Come again? (Hi-Q/Haiku)

You know noise is more
(sound disturbance wave signal)
than you need to know?

Scapeland

Limited by a point
in view
doesn't mean there are no
obvious clues sticking out.
We have a nose
for things
that reek
and ears to hear
when something rings true.

The horizon made crisp
by Januarys cold shoulder
brittle colors crack
under depth perception
all is in arcs
electrically
carried through thick-
space, this line is drawn
between the backdrop mountains
painted over the sky-aglow
colors like no others
demonstrating distance
with tonality.
-hummmmm-

Light blurred into white
sights set on time-lapse
of the tidal motion
we may be slow to know
the ripple can re-ripple
reacting unpredictable
but then, this happens
when we don't wave back.

Tide & True

The ebb and flow of tricky desire
peaking on crests
crashing loud and rolling calm
the horizon line wearies the eyes
taking in forever
a panoramic view
a scene in a moment with you.

Trudging against rocky seas
tip-toeing on the glassy surface
touching the liquid mirror
and licking the salt
of savory endings.

What does a wave want
more than release?
To rise and become more
than itself.
A glimpse of glistening face
in a marine metropolis
under the melting sky
gathering all the glow
and casting it back
in a reflection of the
whole whirled.

Diluted Theories

It began with a wave
the First
to lap its raspy tongue on the shore.
The wave was a force.
Invisible dynamic energy.
The wave carried fields and lengths of Time.
Duration plus location,
across distances of open
impetus
or seize to be
and cease to be
settled at any place on the horizon.
Re-conceptualized as
the First notion
that there was more than
the ocean can explain
than can Be
contained in a grain of sand
just like all the rest
folded back in
to tide and time.

Lost to see…
