Divisible

Blessed are thee

memories

chosen to be forgotten

dissolved into distant haze.

Cherished are those

brilliant first rays

alighting the new path

of unknowns.

In the sky

and in the sea,

the clouds and waves

do not recall those passed.

Likewise, made of the same,

and never the same

You and I

remember-

Time upon a Once

Progress by definition
has no placement, is no place,
no locale to inhabit, no direction to aim for,
shortened sight, trendless, segmented to an incident
on a banded ray, a spot and notch,
and they still say
'walk this line', don't trip
despite all the circular patterns and
symbols you see, dashes and
overlapping and Venn
diagrams likeness and loveless
line segments that define outcasts and
all the infinite otherness of else.

The atom and Adam were the building blocks,
it was no coincidence that all heavenly bodies
are round,
potentially the more microcosmic the cell,
the larger the body can be.
Conversely, the more macrobiological
cells seem to align and connect
the more progress
feels familiar
this
Eve-
ning
thru
crystal eyes-
ation.

Progress was just
beyond the horizon
as if it were somewhere we could
sea.

Orange-inality

It could have been
the orange sky
I was admiring
-he asked me why
I noticed
if I felt good?

It may only be its likeness
to oval and objection to purple
-he thinks I am an artist
like that
the palette and what is not
tasted by others

It is likely the ellipse
I offered him
We could have been randomly
cast in the color before
-he agrees dutifully
and we could be genetically
unique only as far as we can see-
which threw him for a loop.

I only meant this hypothetically
potentially when the genome metes
its random end
it would depend on the (re)combination
and assembly by chromosomal connection
of organelle by origami, by atom.

Adam, says he.
It is a lovely Eve-
ning, said I as I happened to be
passing by.
